Thirsty Thursday – The Boozers on Your Bookshelf

You know the names. Fitzgerald. Hemingway. Thompson. If there was a Writer’s Hall of Fame, they’d each have their own wings. And, if there was a Drinker’s Hall of Fame, they’d each have their own floors.

For this Thirsty Thursday, I was wondering about the Greats and their drinking ways. I came across this excellent NY Times blog that pretty much nails it in terms of exploring the world of writers and booze. There’s really nothing else to say, except to ask the question, are any of the bad boys from this article on your bookshelf?

Tomorrow is my birthday, so I’m taking the day off from the blog and will enjoy a frosty one in the 100 degree Texas heat. Enjoy your weekend!
